² This unit generate ultrasounds in the following two ways:

A. Continuous wave: homogeneous and continuous energy output, ultrasounds

are transmitted permanently.

B. Pulsated wave: homogeneous but discontinuous energy output with periodicity,

ultrasounds are transmitted by impulses with a phase known as “ work ” and “ rest ” .

Treatment Procedures

a) Apply a small amount of gel or other nutrient lotion on the area previously treated and

then start running the ultrasound hand-piece.

b) Move the hand-piece in a homogenous way on the skin with updown movements. The

metallic part of the handset must be in straight contact with the skin.

c) Reduce the ultrasound input intensity if the client feels too much heat on the skin surface.
