Plastic Deburring Media / Plastic Cone Media / Vibratory Tumbling Media


Plastic abrasive media is great for all mass finishing applications and recommended for finishing softer metal such as aluminum and brass. Because the plastic deburring media is lighter than ceramic and stainless steel and has a wide variety of shapes, it used for metal removal, pre-plating, pre-anodizing, smoothing and moderate cutting.

Plastic medias are generally used for a more gentle treatment of parts. The specific gravity, and therefore the bulk weight of plastic media, is almost half that of ceramic media. Our computer-controlled manufacturing process and the special curing treatment after de-molding, guarantees the consistent high quality of our media. This is the key to a repeatable process, which guarantees consistent finishes and therefore, the quality of our customers" products.

How We Make

The plastic tumbling media is made by abrasives (40%-60%) into polyester (40%-60%) during mixing. After mixing, this mixture will be introduced into template together with the curing agent to wait for curing. After curing, the newly formed media will be self-grinding by machine.
