Column
The pre-treatment column is suitable for solid-phase extraction of analytes and matrix elimination of samples.
Details Images

IC-H pretreatment column
2.7-2.9μeq,1cc.
Use to remove alkaline earth metal ions, transition metal ions and carbonate ions from sample matrix, and is also used to neutralize the strong alkalinity of sample solution.

IC-Na pretreatment column
2.7-2.9μeq,1cc.
Use to remove transition metal ions and alkaline earth metal ions from samples.

IC-Ag pretreatment column
2.7-2.9μeq,1cc.
Use to remove Cl-, Br-, I-, AsO43-, CrO42-, CN-, MoO42-, PO43-, SeO32-, SeCN-, SO32-, S2-, SCN- and WO42- plasma from the sample solution.

IC-RP pretreatment column
400mg,1cc.
Use to remove hydrophobic compounds, especially unsaturated compounds and aromatic compounds, PH range is 0~14.
IC-Ba pre-treatment column
2.7-2.9 μ Eq, 1cc.
Use to remove sulfate ions from the sample.
IC-C18 pretreatment column
400mg,1cc.
Use to removal of hydrophobic compounds pH range 2~8.
Activation and usage steps of pre-treatment columns
IC-H, IC-Na, IC-Ag, IC-Ag/H Columns
1. Extract 10mL of deionized water with a disposable syringe and push it through the small column at a flow rate of 2-4mL/min.
2. Allow the small column to stand flat for 30 minutes and fully activate it.
3. Use a disposable syringe to extract the sample solution, push it into the small column at a flow rate of 2-4mL/min, and discard the first 3mL.
4. Collect the remaining liquid and combine it with a needle filter to directly enter ion chromatography for analysis, or transfer it to a sample bottle for injection analysis through an automatic sampler.
Attention Please!
1. The H column, Ag column, and Ag/H column are all non renewable.
2. When using Ag columns, they must be combined with H columns for better results.
3. The Ag column and Ag/H column are used to remove chloride ions from the sample solution. When the small column adsorbs chloride ions, the filler portion that adsorbs chloride ions will turn black. When the filler black extends to 2/3 of the solution, it is not recommended to reuse it. Reuse interval: Use a disposable syringe to extract 20mL of deionized water and push it through the small column at a flow rate of 2-4mL/min for cleaning to avoid cross contamination.
4. When activating the cleaning column, it is important to ensure that the liquid is vertically pushed into the column from the syringe and left to stand for 20 minutes.
