Dow Corning SYLGARD 184 silicone rubber is a two-component kit consisting of liquid components, including the basic component 1kg
and curing agent 100g. the basic component and the curing agent according to the 10:1 weight ratio of the complete mix, the consistency of the medium viscosity mixture is similar to that of the SAE 40 motor oil. Thick or thin, the mixture will cure to a tough, clear elastomer for electrical and electronic encapsulation and potting applications. Dow Corning SYLGARD 184 silicone rubber cures at temperatures ranging from 25°C to 150°C without exothermic phenomena, eliminating the need for secondary curing. Once the curing process is complete, it can be used immediately in temperatures ranging from -55'C to 200°C. |
