XM503/XM503 II road milling machine is an asphalt road maintenance and construction machine mainly used for the maintenance operations of municipal roads and as the auxiliary construction implement for large milling machines. lt can realize the small-area digging and renovation of asphalt concrete pavements, including highways, downtown roads, airports, cargo yards, and parking lots, and can be used for the removal of road bulges, asphalt ripples, overlapping curves, and tracks and for the scuffing of cement roads and the milling of pavementjumps. lt can realize the milling along edges and manhole covers. lt can realize the road crushing function if the optional hydraulic pickaxe is installed and realize the milling of roadside rumble strips if the optional rumble wheel is installed. Performance Characteristics

Traveling system: Wheeled type, all-wheel (three-wheel) drive, hydraulic +mechanical drive mode, constantly variable speed change, and high and low gears. The rear wheels adopt independently suspended support wheels. The right rear wheel can swing inward to ease the milling along edges.
Milling system: The hydraulic + mechanical drive mode is applied to achieve efficient and powerful milling. The imported milling cutter heads guarantee the working lite of milling cutter.
Control of milling depth: The left and right rear outriggers can be vertically adjusted to allow the wedged milling. The rear outriggers are installed with depth indicator to indicate the milling depth. This machi ne can be installed with optional automatic leveling system.
Steering system: The full-hydraulic single-front-wheel steering features small steering radius and flexible steering.
Sprinkling system: The sector-shaped water spray nozzles spray water to the milling cutter heads to cool the milling cutter and at the same time reduce the diffusion of dusts during milling. The high capacity water tank can realize the longer working time of machine without interruption. The electric-driven water pump eases the disassembling and cleaning of water spray nozzles.
The advanced, matured, and reliable new generation 4-valve SC4H water-cooled engine is applied, featuring strong power and low fuel consumption.
