Product Description
Lauching Appliance Of Free Fall Lifeboat Davit Crane Solas Approval Safety Lifeboat Equipment Launching
Free Fall Type Davit is used to launch and release the free-fall lifeboat, generally installed in the stern of the ship. The design, manufacture and testing is in full compliance with Regulation 4 and 34 Chapter Ⅲ of International Life-Saving Appliances Code, 1974, as Amended; Part 1 and Part 2 of MSC.81(70) Revised Recommendation on Testing of Life-saving Appliance as amended by MSC.226(82);Chapter I and V of MSC.48(66) International Life-Saving Appliance Code, as Amended by MSC.218(82).
This davit can land the lifeboat freely in the water in an emergency, i.e. when the ship is in a bad working condition of 20° transverse tilt and 10° longitudinal tilt. In addition, it can also rely on hydraulic drive force, using the cylinder to push the davit to jack the lifeboat outboard, and rely on gravity to lower the lifeboat into the water.
