We can always see various materials in our daily life, so what material is pom? POM is polyformaldehyde. Its scientific name is polyoxyformaldehyde, also known as Trane. It is mainly made of different raw materials such as formaldehyde. POM is a kind of engineering plastic with high crystallinity and high density. It has good chemical and mechanical properties, especially strong friction resistance. The surface of polyformaldehyde is very smooth, the gloss is very hard, and it is very dense. It appears white or light yellow and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -40-100°C. Compared with most engineering plastics, it has much stronger self-lubricating or wear resistance.
