A) The equipment met the criteria for the equipment in compartmentalized cells, interior type, in accordance with the prescription of the latest revision of IEC 62271-200.
The cells are designed with five compartments:
· Equipment compartment
· bar compartment
· Connection compartment
· Operating mechanism compartment
· Low voltage compartment
B) Medium voltage cells are under the IAC - AFL classification in accordance with the set in the standard of IEC62271.
C) In case of an internal arch, the over pressure and hot gases are expelled to the carcamo cable or to the ascending tunnel to leave the electrical room through the exhaust compartment at the back of each cell.
D) The cells can meet the requirements of grade of protection IP3X
E) The cabinet enclosure is cold rolled steel coated with paint protection against corrosion. The epoxica base paint will have a thickness of 50 microns and applied to both sides of the sheet.
F) The color of upper face and door : RAL-7042, Color of the lower panel and door : RAL-7035
G) Each cell carr ies an identification name plate in acrylic with appropriately sized letters, indicating the functions and electrical characteristics of the cell.
The equipment and the modular cell is designed in such a way that the positions of the devices of the equipment is visible by the operator from the front panel of the cell.
H) The earth bars of each cell that make up the distribution substation are interconnected by a set of bars which will be externally connectable and extended to the entire width of the cell.
The cross section of the busbars is determined to withstand the short-circuit current in accordance with IEC 298 recommendations.
The ground bar is designed to connect it to the main ground bar of the substation without dismantling any of the bars.
i) The landing of the cable is effected through a grounding diconnector with a short-circuit closing capacity, in accordance with IEC 129 recommendation. It is possible to operate the grounding diconnector only when the operating switch under load is open.
A lock interlock system is supplied to lock the switch into the open or closed position. The position of the grounding diconnector is clearly visible from the front of the cell.
A mechanical interlocking system is supplied to prevent incorrect operations, such as closing the grounding diconnector when the operation switch under load is closed.
1. SF6 Load break switch / Disconnector ( please see the user manual of SF6 load break switch)
A) The disconnector use s SF6 low pressure gas for power interruption and do not require maintenance.
And it is installed horizontally inside the cell and the position of the main contacts and the earth contacts is clearly visible from the front of the cell. The position indicator is located directly on the axis of operation of the contacts.The envelope of the sector is made of epoxy resin.
B) The disconnectors are of the high frequency type of operation according to paragraphs 3.104 of the IEC 265-1 recommendations. They have three positions (closed, open and grounded) and are fully assembled and tested before leaving the factory. The relative pressure of SF6 gas inside the casing does not exceed 0.5 bar (500 h Pa). The enclosure is of the "pressure sealing system" type defined by the updated IEC 60298 recommendation of 1990-12 (Appendix G, paragraph 2.3 and 3.3), with a service life of at least 30 years. No gas refill is required in this period.
The mechanical maneuvers of the operating mechanism of the disconnector guarantee s a minimum of 1000 operations.

Barrage
The barrage compartment will be located at the top of the cubicle.
it will include three bars mounted in parallel without phase separating means.
The connections will be made by the top of the enclosure of the disconnector. Access to the bars will only be possible after the removal of an independent access panel, which will carry an electrical shock hazard warning symbol.
4. Connections
MT cable connections is designed to accept simplified terminals for dry type cables.
The medium voltage cable connection compartment is able to withstand the destructive consequences of a possible internal arc . The connection access compartment is possible only after the grounding diconnector is closed.
5. Operating Mechanisms
The operating mechanism is provide on the front all the necessary means to operate the disconnectors.
The operating mechanism compartment includes a position indicator of the disconnector under load and grounding disconnector fixed directly on the axis of the mobile pole, complying with the criterion of positive rupture. This compartment will house voltage presence indicators and the "fuse tripped" indicator for the combined fuse-disconnector units. The compartment will be accessible with energized cables and busbars, without isolating the entire distribution substation and will be designed to facilitate the installation of padlocks, key lock, auxiliary contacts and the usual low voltage accessories. The front cover of the operating mechanism will be suitable to place all the symbols, diagrams, mimics, identification plates and the blocks per lock required for the function implemented.
The controlled compartment adds a motorized mechanism without changing the operating mechanism. All operations of the disconnector under load and the grounding disconnector will be carried out with an anti-glare lever and will be independent of the operator's action after loading the springs of the operating mechanism.
6. VPIS
Each function is equipped with a tension presence indication system (VPIS) in accordance with IEC 62271-206 that has the next characteristics, which allow the display of the presence of voltage in each phase with LED indication. They are equipped with:
• 3 dedicated connection points for the connection of a Phase Concordance Unit (UCF). These terminals include a system that protects them from moisture, salt spray or contamination when the UCF is not connected and designed in such a way that a short circuit or a fault in the UCF or its terminals does not interrupt the LED display.
• In addition to the 2 previous functions, such as a specific VPIS option, voltage presence relay outputs
7. PROTECTION CELL
This cell is used as protection of line or transformer circuits by means of an operating disconnector under load in combination with fuse protection. It is basically composed of:
• An operation disconnector under load, 630A. With closed, open and ground positions. With manual control mechanism type Cl1.
• Fuse holder system with three-pole fuse trip mechanism of at least one fuse and external indication of fuse operation. The system is suitable for fuses DIN 43.625 and IEC 282-1 (Type HH). The disconnector-fuse combination must be carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the rule IEC 62271-105.
• A tripolar set of bars.
• Three-phase voltage presence indication system.
• A set of support insulators for MT cables.
• A grounding disconnector downstream of the fuses.
