3Ms 4211 Double Coated Acrylic Foam Adhesive Tape For Body Side Molding

3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape (AFT) 4210J is a gray, double-coated acrylic foam tape commonly used for the attachment of automotive exterior trim parts such as body side moldings. 3M AFT 4210J is a medium density foam tape providing a balance of conformability and strength. The acrylic foam core has unique viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, thereby minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line. 3M AFT 4210J has AR-5 adhesive on the liner side of the product for bonding to automotive paint surfaces, and DS-4 adhesive on the non-liner side of this product for bonding to the exterior trim part. 3M AFT 4210J is equivalent to 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape 4211 used by Japanese OEMs but offers an adhesive system designed for bonding to North American paint systems.

Features and Benefits

• The natural colored urethane foam tape products vary in color from white to light yellow. The color will change to light yellow upon exposure to sunlight (ultraviolet radiation). This color change is normal and does not affect tape performance.
• 3M™Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4026 is available in roll form and die cut pieces. Die-cut pieces of 3M tape 4026 is available in 3/4" or 1" squares, either individual pieces double linered with an extended liner on one side or in pads of 48 squares.
• 3M™ Double Coated Urethane Foam Tape 4085 combines conformability with high immediate adhesion to most plastics including ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic,polyethylene and polypropylene as well as metal and paint. 3M tape 4085 tears easily which makes it ideal for hand application.
