Q1: What is the purpose of solar controller?
A:Solar controller is used to have solar charge for the battery. When solar panel generate solar power, solar controller will store the solar power to the batteries.
Q2: MPPT or PWM, which one should I choose?
A: PWM can get about 80% solar power from the solar panel, mppt can get about 99% solar power from it. Small solar system (1kw or under 1kw) recommend to use pwm, price is cheaper than mppt. If need high efficiency to store solar power, recommend mppt.
