The YY-NM series of Medox is a nitrogen generator designed for LC-MS. This nitrogen generator has a flow rate of up to 35L/min, providing the optimal integrated on-site nitrogen production solution for high-performance LC-MS and other laboratory applications that require high performance and stability. Equipped with an integrated air compressor, the purity can reach up to 99.5%, and nitrogen can be supplied on demand, providing zero level dry air at the same time.

Working Principle

The commonly used nitrogen production process in industry usually uses membrane separation method. Membrane separation method is a method of separating gas molecules based on the differences in permeability of different gas molecules on membrane materials. In nitrogen production, membrane separation method is used to separate nitrogen from other gases. The membrane separation method is based on the differences in gas molecule size, shape, and solubility. Under appropriate operating conditions, smaller nitrogen molecules can relatively easily pass through the micropores of the membrane material, while larger molecules such as oxygen are blocked, thus achieving nitrogen purification.
