Installation Instructions
how to connect tube fitting accurately and securely every time to make sure it’s safe for you?
1:make sure tube is properly prepared.ensure the tube is clean. deburred and tube hardness and match the tube fitting specification .
2:bottom the tube fitting at the back of shoulder on.
3:take the nuts until can not hand tighten anymore
4:use a marker to mark the nuts at 6:00, rotate the nuts with a wrench 1 1/4" turn from tight
notice:
every user must use the gauge to check the gap between the nuts and body. when we use the tightening this correctly.
this is only one spot that will give us the max sealing potential for a safe and sure connection. under tightening cause the ferrules inside not to bite which can at pressure. release this tube making it become a projectile. over tightening can crush and damage the ferrules, so we make sure the nuts it tightened to the precise spot every time.
so what can happen if we install a fitting that is over tighten or under tightened?
firstly you may have to throw away the fitting. a tubing run might have to be replaced which cause a lot of time and expense .also more concerning it the potential for safely issue. the media running through our tube maybe at high pressure. it may be high temperature. it maybe caustic chemicals that can be harmful. so any time we increase the potential for a leak. we are looking at a serious consequences.
