Products Description
Kishu Miyabi Sea Bream Rice Seasoning Mix
On the eastern shore of the Kii Peninsula is Owase Bay, a place lined with beautiful rias and overlooks the Kumano-nada Sea where the Kuroshio current flows inward. Our hometown Sugari is a small inlet nestled deep within this bay.
Sea breams that are carefully raised from fry have a vibrant color and an elegant, deep flavor. The highest-quality sea breams are used as offerings for Toyouke no Okami, the divinity enshrined at the Ise Jingu shrine, and they are the pride of local residents here. Such luxurious ingredients are perfect for making special occasions even more memorable.
Our company carried out many years of trial and error to create a stress-free environment, our own special feed, and a system that ensures consistently high-quality sea breams. It takes two years to carefully raise sea breams from fry to magnificent adult fish, and they have now become our signature product.
When we first showcased this Kishu Miyabi sea bream at a fish event, a customer told us that they would like to share it with their family. This led to the development of the Kishu Miyabi Sea Bream Rice Seasoning Mix in line with our goal to create products that combine beauty, food, and health.
The Kishu Miyabi Sea Bream Rice Seasoning Mix is made with a generous amount of sea bream of the highest quality that is rich in umami notes and sweetness without the bitterness or fishy smell often found in fish, and it is paired during cooking with our secret broth, both of which perfected with the golden ratio after one year of repeated trial and error.
The sea bream is seasoned only with coarse salt when the fillets are grilled. We are proud to bring this gift from the sea that we have carefully raised from fry one by one to your dining table.
