Product Description
C2TES2 Flex Tile Adhesive is a Two component, highly deformable, high adhesive, with extended open time which is easy to trowel with no vertical slip and an extremely high yield, for fixing large sizes ceramic tiles and stone materials, and especially for substrates with vibration, shrinkage or deflection.
Where to Use
l For treated timbers, hardwood timbers or timbers which exude resins/tannins, initially install a fiber cement sheet tile underlay.
l For fixing tiles onto plasterboard, fiber cement sheeting, timber floorboards, structural composition board or marine grade plywood, concrete, cement renders/screeds, brickwork, blockwork, old ceramic tiles and particular waterproofing membranes.
l For both walls and floors, interior and exterior applications.
Properties
l Excellent ability to cope with deformation in the substrate and tiles
l Will accommodate movement within the substrate
l Adheres well to most waterproofing membranes
l Will absorb vibration and reduce sound transmission
Mixing
l C2TES2 Flex Tile Adhesive is a two-part adhesive for on-site mixing.
l A 25kg/2.5kg unit the mixing ratio is 25kg of C2TES2 Flex Tile Adhesive powder to 2.5kg of C2TES2 Flex Tile Adhesive liquid and 5L water.
l Add the powder slowly into the liquid while mechanically stirring to ensure a uniform mix results.
l Allow the mixture to stand for 10 minutes, remix and then apply.
Shelf Life
Product can be stored u p to 12 months in an elevated, cool dry place in original packaging.
