Different with normal pigments, fluorescent pigments can absorb part of the light (including UV light) and transfer it into a longer wavelength and similar to the normal reflected hue light -- fluorescent light. So the color of fluorescent pigment is particularly bright and vivid.
Fluorescent pigments can be divided into thermoplastic, solvent-based, water-soluble three series.
Thermoset/Daylight Fluorescent Pigment
VS/MJ series are thermoset fluorescent pigment with unique spherical particles size averaging around 3~5 microns. It possess very good solvent resistance, good for both solvent based and water based systems.
Thermoplastic Fluorescent Pigment
AX series fluorescent pigment is mainly for plastics, also use for water-based coating, inks.
(1) Fluorescent Pigments are suitable for PE,PP,PS,PVC,PET,ABS etc plastics coloring.
(2) Fluorescent Pigment usage: extrusion, injection, blow molding and casting etc.
(3)Temperature range: SJ Series for low temperature level (below 200°C); Z series for high temperature level (190~250°C); SJ series for super high temperature level (160-260°C)
Fluorescent Pigment Applications:
1.For Plastics:
(1) Fluorescent Pigments are suitable for PE,PP,PS,PVC,PET,ABS etc plastics coloring. (extrusion, injection, blow molding and casting etc.)
2.Printing inks:
Fluorescent Pigments are available for various printing ink systems such as water and solvent as well as UV ink system.
Paper printing: wall paper, packing paper, tag board, business card, pens etc.
Plastic ink: Candy packing paper, plastic film, toys, plastic container etc.
Textile processing: umbrella, garment, leather etc.
