Metallurgical Grade Fluorspar Acid Grade Powder
Calcium Flourspar has widespread IR application as spectroscopic CaF2 windows, CaF2 prisms and CaF2 lenses. Especially pure grades of Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) find useful application in the UV and as UV Excimer laser windows. CaF2 is available doped with Europium as a gamma-ray scintillato.

1) Metallurgical grade fluorspar buyer (60–85% CaF2)
traditionally been used as a flux to lower the melting point of raw materials in steel production to aid the removal of impurities, and later in the production of aluminum.
2) Ceramic grade fluorspar buyer (85–95% CaF2) is used in the manufacture of opalescent glass,enamels and cooking utensils.
3) The highest grade, "fluorite 85" (97% or higher purity), accounts for about 95% of fluorspar buyer consumption in the US where it is used to make hydrogen fluoride and hydrofluoric acid by reacting the fluorspar buyer with sulfuric acid.
