R622-18/A7 pressure reducing valve, single stage pressure regulating, 1/2~3/4 port.
1. Economical decompression control design, suitable for residential areas, commercial, industrial and other occasions;
2. It is especially suitable for direct combustion equipment, and can be used for natural gas, artificial gas, liquefied petroleum gas, air and other gases;
3. Accurate pressure regulation, sensitive closing, simple pressure setting, integrated overpressure, pressure loss cut-off and safety release device to ensure user safety, can be installed in any position;
4. Temperature: -29°~66°C;
5. Accuracy: ±2.5%.
Principle of Operation
Refer to Figure 2. When downstream demanddecreases, the pressure under the diaphragmincreases. This pressure overcomes the
regulatorsetting (which is set by the control spring). Throughthe action of the pusher post assembly, lever, andvalve stem, the
valve disk moves closer to the orificeand reduces gas flow. If demand downstreamincreases, pressure under the diaphragm
decreases.Spring force pushes the pusher post assemblydownward and the valve disk moves away fromthe orifice allowing flow through
the body to thedownstream system. Type R622 regulators include anintemal relief valve for overpressure protection.
Installation
Type R622 regulator may be installed in any position.However, the spring case vent should be pointeddownward. If gas escaping
through the Type R622internal relief valve could constitute a hazard, thesnrind case vent must be piped to a location wnerepIig
Uase vdn Trust e ppdu aocaudrr wiidlescaping gas will not be hazardous. If the ventedgas will be piped to another location,
obstruction-freetubing or piping at least equal to the vent, and the endof the vent pipe must be protected from anything thatmight
clog it.
