Barn Door Lock Hardware GATE DOOR LARGE TEARDROP LATCH
When we saw that our interior sliding doors and pocket doors needed something to keep them closed for privacy, we developed our Teardrop Privacy Sliding Door Latch and Lock.
The Teardrop Barn Door Privacy Lock and Latch is designed for bedrooms, bathrooms, or any interior space with sliding doors. The swivel latch fits in the room - when the door is closed, the "teardrop" swivels into the slot on the door, securing it in place for privacy. Privacy locks are ideal barn door locks for small spaces that use or need a sliding door. Available in black or stainless steel finish options. There are similar products out there, but ours is the original. Nothing works better than the original.
The first device is a teardrop or fan lock that consists of two parts: the fan blade and the lock slot. First, install the lock slot to the sliding door. Then, fix the fan blades to the doorway (as shown in the picture).
Easy DIY Barn Door Lock Kit The fan swings back and forth against the wall to lock and unlock, so you don't have to worry about it sticking out.
Also, you attach the fan to the side that hangs from the door when the door is open. So you don't really notice the latch.
All the screws and hardware you'll need are included in the kit, so you only need a drill to hold the locking hardware in place.
