Roller Parts
Roller are the most important parts for making pellets. The material of roller parts must be anti-bearable and no easy to broken. The roller is made of precise materails of alloy metal. The simplest roller press has one pair of rollers. But now, the new developed flat die pellet press have two or three pair of rollers which have bigger capacity of making pellets.
Die Parts
The die parts have many pellet holes for extruding material for compressed into formation of pellets. The holes of die have 6-8 mm diameter for your choose or we can make as your required. Referred flat die pellet mill is compared to ring die pellet mill. They have similiar working theory for pelletizing but the ring die have much bigger capacity and more complex structure. Generally, the flat die pellet press is suitable for home use or small working shop.

How Does a Animal Feed Pellet Machine Work?
When you feed raw materials into the pellet machine through the hopper, they fall on the flat die and spread over it under the function of roller. When you start the pellet machine, the electric motor runs and bring along the main shaft through the gearbox. The press roller is installed on the main shaft, so it rotates around the main shaft. Meanwhile, the rollers rotate around the roller shaft. The rotating press forms strong pressure and press the raw materials into the holes on the flat die. The raw materials get molded in these holes. When they are squeezed out, they become solid cylinders. Meanwhile, the strong friction between roller and die heat up the raw materials to over 80°C, where the lignin and fibers get soft. They increase the adhesive force of materials. The diameter of the pellets is determined by the hole size of the flat die, while the length is determined by the slicer under the flat die. When the biomass pellets come out in the shape of cylinders, the slicer under the flat die cut them into certain length.
You can adjust the position of slicer to change the length. After being cut by the slicers, the pellets fall down on the pellet-throwing tray. Under the function of centrifugal force, the `pellets are sent out though the discharge outlet.

Features Of Animal Feed Machine
Raw Materials
Corn, maize, soybean, rice, wheat: contain about 10-14% of protein and also contain vitamin B1, B2, B6 and small quantity of enzyme. Rapeseed Meal, cotton seed meal: high protein-containing material that can be used as a feed for livestock and poultry. Typical meal contains around 38% of protein; however it also contains about 12% crude fiber and glucosinolates, specific components of cruciferae plants straw meal, grass meal, rice bran, wheat chaff: contain fiber, control many types of fish diseases.
Grains like corn,soybean,wheat do not need to be crushed before pelleting,our animal feed pellet making machine can press them into pellets directly, but if you manufacturing other materials like straw, grass, alfalfa etc, you have to crush them into powder form and then pelleting them, when you manufacturing your own animal feed, single raw material do not also a mixer machine, but if you use several material, it is better to use a mixer machine, thus powder raw material can be mixed evenly.
