Hot Sale Outdoor Best Quality Durable Siberian Larch Wooden Decking
The most widespread coniferous forests in the world are larch forests - and the most important species in the light green coniferous taiga is Siberian larch. This is particularly true for West
Siberian lowland areas, however, this species emerges also at the upper border of the forest. In a broader sense, the Siberian larch also enters Southeast Europe. Just in Russia - particularly in Siberia - larch forests cover an area of approx. 264 million ha, which is about 38% of Russian forests area. Trees in Siberia reach up to 40m height and age of 400 years. The focal point of the Siberian
larch expansion is, therefore, the West Siberian lowland, the southern part of Central Siberia mountains, westward it extends into Europe up to the edge the White Sea and almost to the east edge of the Lake Onega, going eastward it passes through Asia and comes to the Lake Baikal and southeast to Mongolia. It grows from the South Asian borders of the former USSR to the northern boundary of forest-tundra. Siberian larch grows almost from sea level up to 2,250m above sea level. It grows in extensive lowlands and up to Alpine frontier forests in the mountains. Highest reached location is in Altai (up to 3,700m above sea level)
