HPMC(Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose)
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Celluloseare types of non-ionic cellulose ether, which are a powder of white to off white color, that function as a thickener, binder, film-former, surfactant, protective colloid, lubricant, emulsifier and suspension and water retention aid. In addition, there types of cellulose ethers exhibit properties of thermal gelation, metabolic inertness, enzyme resistance, low odor and taste, and PH stability.
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is usually an anionic polymer compound prepared by the reaction of natural cellulose with caustic soda and monochloroacetic acid, with molecular weight ranging from thousands to millions. CMC-NA is a white fibrous or granular powder, odorless, tasteless, hygroscopic, and easily dispersed in water to form a transparent colloidal solution.
