To determine the size tension band that is needed, measure the outside diameter of the post. This chain link fence connector is designed for 2-3/8 inch diameter posts. To determine the quantity needed, use 1 less band than the height of the fence post. for 3 ft. x 4 ft. post, use 3 tension bands. for 5 ft. post, use 4 tension bands. and for 6 ft. post, use 5 tension bands.
Connect the tension bands with the appropriate size carriage bolts.
