3 M™ VHB™ Tape 5952 is a b lack or white, 0.045 in (1.1 mm), modified acrylic adhesive and very conformable acrylic foam core bonds to a wide variety of substrates including powder coated paints and irregular surfaces,including painted metals, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, and plastics, including acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS.

Tape 5952 is a proven high-strength alternative to screws, rivets, welds, and other forms of traditional fastening methods. While a screw or a rivet can join two substrates at a single point, 3 M™ VHB™ Tape permanently adheres one substrate to another and spreads the stress load across the entire length of the joint.
