These “A” Grade seawater reverse osmosis membrane elements are approximately three years old and were recently removed from a municipal drinking water facility. Current test results indicate that rejection rates are 99.6% and above. Historical in situ run data is included below. WHAT IS THE EXPECTED LIFE OF THE MEMBRANES?
Generally, the life of the membranes depends on the water quality but in normal cases or under standard parameters,
you can expect 1.5 to 2 years for domestic and approximately, 3 years for commercial and industrial elements.
