It uses advanced nanoparticles that are designed to reflect up to 97% of infrared and ultraviolet rays instead of absorbing them.
3. Does it cause any change in visibility or light transmission?
No, it allows 95% of visible light through so visibility and light transmission are not affected. Views remain crisp and clear.
4. How long does Star Heat Shield last?
It forms a robust nano coating that is built to last for many years with proper application and reasonable care.
5. How difficult is it to apply the coating?
It has an easy wipe-on formula for DIY application. Simply wipe on with the included applicator in a criss-cross motion.

It dries within 1 hour and takes 24 hours to harden completely. Full curing takes 7 days.
