*Before installation, please check whether the surface of the transfer box shell, shaft extension,
the key groove
or outer spline is intact, and if there is any damage, repair it in time. When equipping the

and spline sleeve, grease can be applied to the shaft extension. Lubricating grease makes the equipment easy, anti-corrosion, and makes it easier to disassemble later. Must ensure that the drive shaft seals are clean and intact. If the surface of the transfer assembly box must be painted, grease should be used to cover and other protective measures to avoid the drive shaft and seals are sprayed with paint, otherwise damage to the seals will cause oil leakage.
*Not allowed to damage and remove the O-ring installed at the mounting flange of the power take-off.
*Lubricant: Please refer to the nameplate and technical information for the quality and quantity of lubricating oil. However, the amount of oil on the nameplate is only an approximate amount, so the following procedure must be followed to ensure that the oil is not too little or too much.
*The oil level can be checked by using the accessories available on the box: for example, by loosening the overflow bolt or looking at the dipstick or looking at the peephole. Checking the oil level should be done after the distributor box has been running for 15 minutes, because the dry pickup port mounting flange will absorb a certain amount of lubricating oil and some of the oil will also be trapped in the spline bushing, which will all lead to a drop in the oil level. If the oil level drops significantly, the oil must be replenished to the specified level.
*We recommend repeating the above procedure until the oil level no longer changes. This is especially important for transfer cases with oil transfer pumps and oil coolers.

Symptoms of bad
transfer case assembly
1、Shift with shock and shaking phenomenon.
2. Downshifting or up shifting is sluggish. When driving on an uneven road, the front axle has a "click" metal friction sound.
3、Starting power is obviously insufficient, and the power is insufficient when going uphill. There is a feeling that it is always locked in 3rd gear and cannot accelerate. Cold car is fine, after warming up the condition is more obvious.
4、Shift lever in position 1, only 1st gear; in position 2, only 2nd gear; in position D, only 3rd gear. No upshifting and no downshifting.
5、When waiting for the red light, step on D gear has the phenomenon of rushing gear, lock gear in 2nd gear, can not up shift the phenomenon.
6、Cold car is normal, after warming up, driving feeling no energy, big foot throttle slowly go. Traffic jam for a long time, will lock the gear in 3rd gear, can not accelerate the phenomenon.
7、The fault light of the car will light up, check with the car checker, there are fault codes, fault codes show that there is locking 2nd gear, low oil pressure in the pipeline, the phenomenon of pipeline oil pressure failure.
8, cold start difficulties, in 4th gear, with manual can not be adjusted. Restart several times, the fault disappeared. Restart, the fault remains.
9, neutral to reverse gear, reverse gear to D, there will be banging sound.
10, first gear can not automatically go, no response to the gas pedal, lag after two or three seconds suddenly into the gear, the car thud forward; reverse the same. Uphill has a kind of manual gear half clutch feeling. Release the throttle at 30-50 mph, when the gas pedal and release the throttle, the transmission thumping sound, the speed up is good.
