Chevron parquet plank is 30°-60° cut , in Parallelogram pattern .

Herringbone parquet plank is 90°cut , in rectangular pattern

2) Different form of parquet installed

After installation , there are clear straight axis among V-shape chevron parquets

After installation , there is no straight axia among herringbone parquets

3) Different cost of production

the cost of chevron parquet is 15% higher than herringbone parquet due to extra waste for producing chevron parquet in cutting from two ends at the angle of 45 or 60 degree .
