The double-gate blowout（RAM BOP) preventer is used to close the wellhead during oil testing, well repair, completion and other operations to prevent blowout accidents. It combines the functions of full sealing and semi-sealing into one, and has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation, and high pressure resistance. It is a safety sealing wellhead device commonly used in oil fields to prevent blowouts. It can be used in conjunction with annular blowout preventers. Fully sealed blowout preventers can seal the entire wellhead; semi-sealed ones seal the annular section of the wellhead when there is a drill pipe.

The design and manufacture of the U-type gate blowout preventer meet the requirements of API Spec 16A and GB/T20174, and are equipped with gates of various sizes and specifications. It includes high-quality gate front rubber core, top rubber core and intermediate flange seal group, which can meet the working requirements of extreme working conditions such as high and low temperature and acidic environment.
