Advantages of ASA material:
1. ASA has good mechanical and physical properties.
The structure of ASA and ABS is similar, composed of acrylonitrile and butadiene rubber, which retains the excellent mechanical and physical properties of ABS as an engineering plastic.
2. ASA has strong weather resistance.
If the high molecular polymer contains double bonds, the double bonds are easily opened by the ultraviolet rays in the sunlight with high energy intensity, resulting in a decrease in the aging resistance of the high molecular polymer, and ASA is used without unsaturated Acrylic rubber with double bonds replaces butadiene rubber with unsaturated double bonds in ABS. Therefore, it not only resists degradation, aging and discoloration caused by ultraviolet radiation, but also has a strong guarantee against decomposition or discoloration caused by high temperature in the oxidation process in the atmosphere, thus greatly improving the anti-aging and weather resistance of the material . According to the test results, the anti-aging performance of ASA is more than 10 times that of ABS.
