Maydos wallpaper glue corn starch powder glue Glutinous rice adhesive WALLPAPER PASTE
Description
Maydos Wallpaper glue is a ready-to-use adhesive designed for hanging all types of wallpaper borders. The high adhesive strength allows sticking of vinyl borders to vinyl, gloss and emulsion paints, suitable for sticking down overlapping seams, and general wallpaper repairs. It exhibits excellent 'early grab' properties in combination with a good open time, to allow re-adjustment, and contains a fungicide to protect against mould growth.
Application Tools

|
Clean bucket, water, brush, scraper, tape measure and paper knife.

Application Guidelines
1.Pour the glue into the clean bucket
2.Mix the glue with water based on 1:0.5 -1 (The added water amount depends on the weight and thickness of the wallpaper)
(1)First, add 40% of the total amount water and stir evenly( The first mixing is very important. Make sure the glue completely dissolved before the second dilution)
(2)Add 30% water of the left amount, stir evenly.
(3) Pour the rest of water, mix well, and stand a while before use.
3.Spread the wallpaper out on a flat surface, pour the mixed glue on the back of the wallpaper in a straight line, and then spread the glue evenly with a short-haired brush(1.5-3cm). The consumption of glue is about 100-120g/sqm.
4. Fold the wallpaper, keep still for 5-10minitues,and then paste it on the wall.
5. Press the paper with the scraper to force the excess glue and air out through the edges.
6. Use the scraper or a seam roller to press the seams tightly together.
7. Wipe off the excess glue with a wet a towel.
Attention:
1. The added water can’t be poured into the glue once for all. You have to divide it into three or four portions and you have to mix well before adding a new portion. To get the optimum adhesion, keep the diluted glue still for about 10 minutes until it dissolve completely.
2. Short-haired brush is strongly recommended.
3. More water can be added if the wallpaper is highly absorbent.
