HW1800 is a stondard 35 mm Din-Rail variant of HW1800, offering full smart prepayment features with compact design. The meter is built with a Customer Interface Unit (CIU), allowing high anti- tampering functions. The communication between the meter and the CIU is selectable amongst PLC, RF and M-Bus.

Serialized security seals are provided in combination with “sacrificial” seals. The meter is completely ultrasonic-sealed to
prevent any opening. Tamper can be detected even if the power is disconnected. The user interface includes hotkey to display the number of tamper conditions detected.

THE SMART VARIANT OF HW1800
As a smart variant of HW1800, the meter is inbuilt with GSM/GPRS modem to support the direct remote communication with Head End System (HES). The modem is independently sealed from the front panel of the meter.External antenna is provided to enhance the communication in challenging environment.
Besides GSM/GPRS, the meter also supports communication of RF and PLC communication to the DCU for AMl implementation.
