Brief Introduction:
Molecular Distillation is a special liquid-liquid separation technology, which is different from traditional distillation on the difference boiling point. This is a kind of distillation in high vacuum environment, for the difference of material molecular movement free path, was carried out in the heat sensitive material or high boiling point material distillation and purification process. Short Path Distillation is mainly used in chemical, food, petrochemical, spices, plastics,oil and other fields.
Process Description:
Feed liquid is admitted into still under high vacuum, immediately spread into a very thin film and forced quickly down the evaporation surface. Heated walls and high vacuum drive the more volatile components (distillate) to the external condenser as the less volatile components (residue) continue down the cylinder. The resulting fractions, thus separated, exit through individual discharge outlets. Depending on application, the desired product is either the distillate or the residue fraction. Small amounts of condensable low MW compounds collect in cold trap upstream of vacuum system. For high solvent loads, an optional external condenser may be installed immediately downstream of the still.

4. High-precision distillation barrel allows the liquid to form a complete and unified thin film on the heated surface. The smooth inner surface, avoid stick and scaling;
5. Frequency conversion deceleration motor, with self-cooling fan,long time continuous working;
6. Magnetic force transmission make film forming system separate from motor. The drive rod that of the motor does not have to go through the sealing surface of the main distillation barrel.The whole System performs a completed sealing. The minimum vacuum pressure is up to 0.1Pa.
7. Highest temperature of the system can reach 230℃~300℃, accurate temperature control can be realized;
8. Max. theory vacuum degree can reach 5Pa or 0.1Pa;
9. Scraper model and self-cleaning roller model film forming system are available.
