Products Description
DWDM（Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer），which is composed by filter, G-lens, dual fiber, glass tube, and single fiber collimator. Theoretically, DWDM can combine a group of optical wavelengths and transfer in a single fiber. This is a kind of laser technology that used to expand the bandwidth on the existing fiber optic backbone networks. More precisely, this technology is to multiplex the tight spectral isolation of a single fiber carrier in a specified fiber in order to reach the best transmission performance (for example, to achieve the minimum degree of dispersion or attenuation). In this way, under a given information transmission capacity, the total number of optical fibers can be reduced.
Product Application
* Network expansion and upgrade It can convert any input wavelength to fixed ITU-DWDM output wavelengths and transfer dozens of optical signals in one single fiber,which greatly enlarge the transmission capacity &utilization rate , save the time &cost of laying cable.Meanwhile, it won’t effect the original service when having new.
* Different signals combine transimission: It is suitable for SDH,ATM,Gigabit Ethernet,fiber passband equipment update of transimission rate within 10Mb/s~2.5 Gb/s ,long distance relay &simulate singal transmission,as well as data& simulate singal combined transimission in one single optical fiber.
* Patten conversion: It can complete the conversion of single-mode optical wavelength into any single-mode &multi-mode optical wavelengths, which is suitable for various complexed network conditions.
* Wavelength conversion: Complete the conversion of any wavelength of single-mode and multi-mode optical wavelengths into DWDM wavelengths, or convert one DWDM wavelength to any other wavelength, thus the transmission distance can reach to hundreds of kilometers.
* Optical relay: Several DWDMs can be connected in tandem to increase the transmission distance (up to hundreds of kilometers)
* Security network: DWDM can be applied to a single pair of fibers to form several physical channels that could isolate the OPN from each other to keep the network completely being protected from all software viruses and hacker attacks. Its security is much higher than that of general VPN, which is especially suitable for Government, public security, bank system and other fields.
