1、 Product description
Steel ruler water level gauge is a very effective instrument to measure water level accurately. Electric water level gauge and steel ruler water level gauge provide an accurate method to measure water level. They are usually used to measure the water level of wells, boreholes and water level pipes. They are especially suitable for the observation of underground water level in hydropower projects or the manual inspection of saturation line of earth rock dam. The instrument can be used not only during construction, but also for long-term safety monitoring of the project.

3、 Instrument composition
The steel ruler water level gauge is composed of probe, steel ruler cable, receiving system and winding coil.
1. Probe part: made of stainless steel, with water resistance contact point installed inside. When the contact contacts the water surface, the receiving system will be connected. When the contact leaves the water surface, the receiving system will be automatically closed.
2. Steel ruler cable part: the steel ruler and wire are combined by plastic technology, which not only prevents the steel ruler from rusting, but also simplifies the operation process, making the measurement and reading more convenient and accurate.
3. Receiving system part: it is composed of loudspeaker and peak indicator. The loudspeaker sends out continuous beeping sound by buzzer, and the peak indicator is the pointer indicator of voltmeter. The two can be selected by turning the switch. No matter what kind of receiving system is used, the measuring and reading accuracy is consistent.
4. Winding coil part: it is composed of winding disc and bracket. The receiving system and battery are all placed in the core cavity of the winding coil, and the steel ruler cable is wound outside the cavity.

Working principle
The measurement of the water level by the following two parts: 1. Underground material, it is composed by water level pipe and
bottom cover (not include in the system,it is need purchased separately) Ground receiver-ruler water level meter, it is composed
by detect head, ruler cable, receiver system and cable reel. Detect head: made by steel, inside is a water resistance contact
point. When the contact point contact water, the receiver system will open, and when the contact point leave the water,the
receiver system will close. Ruler cable: it made by ruler and cable, and use plastic technology keep them together, and avoid the
steel corrosion and simple the operation,make the read more convenient and accurate. Receiver system:it is composed by
sounder,indicate light. 2 the green button in the panel is test button, when push this button, light on and buzzing, that indicate
the circuit is in good condition. Or else, the circuit have problem or the battery has no power.
Instructions
In measuring, make the cable reel rotate and push the power button,put the detect head in the water pipe, put the ruler cable in
hand and make it drop slowly. When the detect head contact point contact water, the receiver system buzzer will sound. Then you
can read the data of the ruler cable and can know the water level.(if the surrounding voice is loudly, maybe you can hear
buzzer,so you can observe the indicate light and voltage meter)
Maintenance
Because the system use battery to supply power, so when you finish test,you should keep it power off.Power supply is 9V,when it
has no power,you should open the cover and change it. After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled
in cable reel. And put them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of the product, it can not put in water horizontally,
the cable cannot bucking,especially the ends. The detect head should carry and put softly and avoid vibration.
Storage
Customer should open the box and check the product when you receive it.
Storage temperature-10~+40℃,humidity less than80%,no aggressive gas.
Product warranty:1year.
