MAKING A PİN
These pins are manufactured using Wire EDM cutting technology.
The visual pattern, logo or figure that is planned to be produced is first drawn with the help of computer using various design programs. Then this drawing is transferred to the Wire EDM machine and production begins.
- Various materials such as brass, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum are cut for the part inside the pins.
- For the tubes of the pins, pipes made of various materials such as brass, stainless steel, copper, aluminum and carbon fiber can be used.
-The pattern is cut in one piece, end to end, over the entire length of the finished pin. EDM cutting is a delicate and extremely slow process that suits this type of application perfectly.
-The part inside the pin is actually cut into one long piece. It is placed in the tube as a single piece and using epoxy of
varying colors, it is ensured to be fixed in the tube.
- Wherever you cut this tube, which can be produced according to the desired length, you will see the same pattern.
-After the drying process, it is cleaned with the final touches and becomes ready.
-Wire EDM machines used in the Automotive and Mold industry cut various materials with wires with a thinner thickness than hair.
Patterns with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 100 mm have an average cutting time of 60 minutes.
