Measuring Drilling Fluid Viscosity Stainless Steel Cup Marsh Funnel Viscometer
The Marsh funnel viscometer is an instrument for routine measurements of the relative viscosity of a drilling fluid (compared to water). The product is manufactured according to the Q / 02NSJ006-2003 standard and is made of stainless steel. The viscosity of the drilling fluid is determined by the time it takes 946 ml of drilling fluid to flow from the hopper. Because the measured number is greatly affected by the colloidal rate and the specific gravity, the instrument can not be directly compared with the data measured by rotational viscometers, static forces and rheometers. The instrument is easy to carry, easy to operate, widely used in petroleum, geological exploration and other departments, especially for field drilling site daily measurement of drilling fluid viscosity.
