1. The light source is molecules formed by xenon atoms (Xe) and chlorine atom (Cl) under the action of high frequency electric field.

2. Since the chlorine atoms (Cl) can accept an electron from xenon atom, the two atoms are in an unstable electron configuration(excimer) after being excited and will strive to come back to its original form, resulting in a high purity 308nm monochromatic excimer light.

Preparations before therapy

1. Clean the skin lesions.

2. Set radiation time.

3. Wear UV goggles. ❤Warm Prompt If the skin lesions are on/around the areola genital area, please lessen the radiation time and consult the doctor! Observation After Therapy: Skin reactions generally occur 4-10 hours after phototherapy.

Radiation time adjustment: Increment and decrement 1. No erythema: Increase time by 20%. Minimal increment: 3s. 2. Slight erythema, fade within a few hours: Increase time by 10%. Minimal increment: 3s. 3. Obvious erythema: Keep the same time of the previous treatment. 4. Obvious erythema with peeling skin: Stop treatment. After recovery, reduce time by 20%. 5. Serve erythema with pain/swelling: Stop treatment. After recovery, reduce time by 50%. 6. Serve erythema with blister: Stop treatment. After recovery, reduce the time by 50%.
