Well compressor control
Compressor staging is controlled directly by the control temperature. When the control temperature is warmer than the cooling set point, cooling is staged up;
when the control temperature is cooler than the cooling set point, cooling is staged down. However, a stage change can only occur when the control temperature is outside the dead band. Staging is constrained by an inter-stage delay timer. These constraints protect the compressors from short cycling while eliminating temperature variations near the diffusers.
