The movement principle of the engraving machine:
There are three types of engraving machine transmission modes: ball screw transmission, belt transmission, and rack transmission.
Rack transmission is based on continuous meshing of teeth to transmit motion. It is generally used for heavy loads and long-distance movements. Many large engraving machines use rack transmission on the XY axis. while on Z axis use ball screw.
Compared with ball screw transmission, it makes the transmission torque more uniform and faster through the engagement between the teeth. Very suitable for woodworking engraving machine with small tools and carving and milling faster.
The engraving machine gear box has 1.25M left helical, 1.25M straight tooth, 1.5M straight tooth, 1.5M left helical, 2 M left helical, wheel has 18tooth 12.7mm, 18tooth 14mm.
Cnc Gearbox Working Theory
This gear box is used with NEMA34 stepper motor or NEMA34 hybrid servo. The motor is installed on the gear box. The driver and the motor are wired. When the driver is powered on (using DC switching power supply or AC power supply), the driver drives the motor to rotate. The motor is installed on the gear box, and the gear box is driven by the synchronous wheels and belts, and the gear shaft. The gear shaft of the gear box has been engaged with the rack, and the XY axis of the engraving machine is driven by the gear box.
