Products Description
Arita-yaki or Arita-ware is porcelain produced in the whole area of Arita Town, Saga Prefecture.
It is also called Imari ware because it was once shipped from the neighboring Imari port to all over Japan.
Arita-yaki was developed after Sakaida Kakiemon succeeded in unique color painting in 1643, and is now widely popular in the world as tableware and craftwork product.
Single orders are also available.
By sprinkling the glaze in spots during the underglaze firing, the gold and platinum colors of the overglaze firing produce areas with luster and areas without.
Its features not only achieve a unique and luxurious red painting, but it is also scratch-resistant and can be used as tableware and washed for a long period of time.
Of course, gold and platinum painting are safe materials.
