About Borosilicate Glass
Borosilicate glass is well-known for its low rate of thermal expansion and less subject to thermal stress. When used as a glass container, it can withstand instant temperature change from -30 ℃ to 150℃. It is widely used on premium wineglass, thanks to its low dispersion and relatively low refractive indices.
Tips for Optimal Use
Smooth surface, detachable lid and filter enable an easy cleaning. Dry it with soft towel and avoid contacting with hard objects which may cause scratches. Though dishwasher friendly, hand-washing is easy and recommended.
50 Oz / 1500ml Large Capacity Teapot----------Enough to provide roughly 6-7 mugs of water. We recommend 1350ml water for optimal stovetop heating.
304 stainless steel micromesh infuser----------Includes micromesh stainless steel filter for loose teas or blooming teas. The lid can be used separately without the infuser.
Heat and Cold Resistant High Borosilicate Glass----------The teapot can withstand instant temperature change from -30 ℃ to 150℃. It will stay intact even if you fill boiling water into the frozen teapot instantly.
