Look up to U9, BYD looks up to the brand's millions of pure electric supercars
Byd's high-end car brand - Look Up, officially announced on November 8, 2022. As a representative of China's high-end automotive sector, Wang Yi is committed to leading the trend of technology and design, and showing a subversive charm.
We launched two impressive models - the U8 and U9. Among them, the U8, as a hard SUV, uses BYD's Ysifang technology platform to produce, with four wheels and four motors independent drive technology. The SUV is available in both pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions, giving consumers more options. In terms of exterior design, the U8 uses the "time and space gate" design language rich in tension and momentum, which leaves a deep impression.
Look up to the U9, the vehicle is equipped with easy Sifang power system, zero acceleration to 2 seconds, but also equipped with BYD Yunlian-X chassis system. The U9 is equipped with an electric butterfly door, the vehicle adopts the time-space door family design language, C-type LED headlights, the rear of the car adds a lot of aerodynamic elements, retains the engine compartment grille commonly used in the middle supercar, and the transparent shark fin design is added above.
In terms of appearance, both the U8 and the U9 pay attention to detail and unique design. The U8's large intake grille is paired with a dot array trim, and the "interstellar headlights" on both sides are impressive. As for the U9, its front line design is full of power, and the headlamp group is sharp. In the rear, the U8's outside-mounted spare tire echoes the "interstellar taillights," while the U9 features a huge electric spoiler and exaggerated diffuser design for a sporty vibe.
In terms of power, the U8 and U9 of the look up are using four-wheel four-motor technology, the maximum power of a single motor is 220~240kW, the peak torque is 320~420N·m, and the transmission matches the single-speed transmission of the electric vehicle. Whether it is the hard SUV style of the U8 or the pure electric supercar positioning of the U9, Wang is providing consumers with diversified choices, and with its unique design language and excellent performance, showing the rise of China's high-end cars to the world.
