The Inside Curve Edger has been designed to smooth into those awkward concave shapes,such as horse-shoe,teadrop,half-moon etc.It has been made in the same way as the Side Edger,enabling the cake board to be covered and smoothed all in one.

1.Always use the Inside Curve Edger on the Marzipan/Almond Paste first to create a good foundation for your sugarpaste.

2.Cover your cake with Marzipan/Almond Paste in the usual way,use your Inside Curve Edger to smooth into concave curves to achieve a uniform smoothness,and a Side Edger around the outer edges of the cake,this will push the paste into the bottom corner of your cake showing exactly where to trim the excess Marzipan/Almond Paste to avoid "undercut".

3.Cover your cake with Sugarpaste-allowing sufficient to cover the board,use a Side Edger around the outer sides of the cake,and the Inside Curve Edger to smooth into the concave curves,if the base plate proves to be too short for this job,(sometimes unusual shaped cakes are mounted onto round boards giving a long reach to the board edge),try using the rounded front of the Super Smoother to eliminate any marks which may be left by the edge of the Inside Curve base plate.

It was not practical to make the base plate larger as this would then become an obstruction in small areas.
