It covers an area of 190000 square meters, is a large-scale modern enterprise specialized in the R&D, production, and marketing of various kinds of dry batteries. It has total assets of more than 2 billion RMB and 1800 employees, including more than 110 electrochemical technology professionals, 59 production lines for various types of dry batteries which can produce 5 billion pieces of R20, R6, R03 batteries with “huahong" and“999" brand by annual.
The company joined the National Primary Battery Standardization Technical Committee of China in 2015, and participated in the revision of GB/T8897.1, GB/T8897.2 and GB/T8897.5 in the same year. It was approved to be a Committee member by the Annual meeting of the National Primary Battery Standardization Technical Committee of China on December 12, 2017. It was elected as a executive?member?of?the council unit of China Battery Industry Association on October 31, 2020 and participated in the revision of the mandatory national standard for the Content Limitation of Mercury, Cadmium and Lead in Zinc Negative Primary Batteries (20190073-Q-339). The company won the National patent of explosion-proof battery, National patent of mercury-free battery in 2019 (Patent No. : ZL 2018 2 2221298.5). In 2020 it obtain Chinese Invention Patent for Paste Mercury-free Battery slurry and Its Preparation Method (Patent No. : ZL 2018 1 1504048.0) and Mercury-free High Power Zinc-manganese Battery and Its Cell Powder, Zinc Cartridge and Mercury-free Pulp Layer Paper (Patent No. : ZL 2018 1 1504061.6).
The company was awarded the First Batch of Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Smes of Hangzhou of 2020 in September 2020. And the technology center was rated as Hangzhou Municipal Enterprise Technology Center. The company was the Top Ten Industrial Outstanding Enterprises of Fuyang in 2020, the Advanced Industrial Enterprise of Fuyang in 2020, the 5A Grassroots Trade Union of Fuyang in 2020, and the Industrial Outstanding Enterprise of Fuyang in 2022. In December 2021, the company was awarded as a National High-tech Enterprise. It becomes the official household dry battery supplier of Hangzhou Asian Games. "Huahong" and "999" brand batteries are the official dry batteries of the Hangzhou Asian Games.In May 2023, it was rated as Zhejiang specialized, refined, and innovative manufacturing enterprise.
Xu Zengfu, Chairman of the company, became a member of the National Primary Battery Standardization Technical Committee of China in December 2017, a member of the Sixth Zinc Salt Expert Group by Inorganic Acid, Alkali and Salt Professional Committee of China Chemical Industry Society in October 2019, a member of the Inorganic Chemical Industry Sub-Technical Committee of National Chemical Standards Committee in September 2020. On October 31, 2020, he was elected as the executive director of China Battery Industry Association. In October 2020, he was awarded as the "Most Beautiful Deputy of Hangzhou People's Congress". In December 2020, he was elected as the sixth President of the Board of Directors of Fuyang Private Enterprise Association. In April 2021, he was honored as the Third "Fuyang Artisan". In November 2021, he became a standing member of the 11th Executive Committee of Industry and Commerce Federation of Fuyang (General Chamber of Commerce). In April 2022, he was awarded as Hangzhou Model Worker. On July 7, 2022, he became the vice president of "Fuyang District Model Workers Association". In August 2022, he became an inorganic chemical engineer. In October 2022, he was elected the fifth Council member of Zhejiang Private Enterprise Development Association.
