These days, humidity is higher indoors, and there are increasing issues with mold, etc.
Particularly in the case of materials which absorb and disperse moisture poorly like simple beds and flooring, moisture pools in the space between the futon and the floor, which can cause the growth of mold, etc.
We use a light, well-cushioned foam as a filling material, and we also use a breathable mesh for the futon gusset, so it disperses the moisture inside the futon.
Your body’s movement when turning over pushes air out of the foam, producing a pumping effect that reduces dampness.
We use moisture-absorbing, quick-drying polyester/cotton blend for the padding.
Using lightweight foam for the core makes it lighter than a traditional futon mattress, and it provides firm support for your body for a comfortable sleeping experience.
