OPTOLONG uv ir cut filter is a filter that can block UV and IR wavelength light and pass visible light only.It has a good usage of blocking UV and IR energy to prevent the sensor machine systems and components from damages.
It permits only the visible spectrum of light rays to enter the camera and get captured by the sensor and blocks out both the higher frequency ultraviolet rays, and lower frequency infrared light rays. This is important to digital photographers.
