Metal end cap seals MEC elastomer to metal seals for high pressure casing and tubing applications

MEC seals are designed for oil and gas applications in harsh conditions, especially when high pressure and high temperature are involved. It is made of RGD and acid resistant gas materials conforming to NORSOK, API and Total standards, which is suitable for harsh downhole environment.

The metal end cap seal is a customized elastomer to metal seal, which combines the advantages of metal to metal components and the flexibility of elastomer seal to achieve maximum extrusion resistance in the sealing environment of high-pressure wellhead.

JST's metal end cap seal is elastomer bonded onto 2 steel caps. This provides high level of extrusion resistance.

Stainless steel metal end caps provide an anti-extrusion mechanism and encapsulate the seal for protection. Because it contains a radially squeezed pressure energised rubber core, it can tolerate surface imperfections and mechanical damage on the wellhead bore.

The MES is made of metal frame and rubber material could be NBR, HNBR, FKM ect.
