INTRODUCTION OF THE FALLING BALL CLOCK
This clock has no manin spring, no key and no winder! It works solely on gravity with the balls slowly moving down the large 'paddlewheel' so providing the force for the clock. The speed of th emovement is controlled througn an 11 jewelled platform escapement to enable accurate timekeeping. The balls fall from the paddlewheel on the base (1 every 4 hours) and when several have collected they can be replaced on the top rack to give virtual perpetual notion. The clock comes with 24 balls and a solid mahogany base. An optional glass case is available.

Here we are offering a fantastic mystery Ferris wheel bearing ball driven crystal regulator clock. Unlike traditional wind up or weight driven clock, this unique clock receive its working power from 20 large ball bearing, which rolling down the top tray. When the ball clears on the Ferris wheel, it simply rolls down to the bottom drawer. After it collects a few of the steel ball bearing, you simply replace them back on the top tray, which has designated channels that allows the balls to roll down to the large Ferris wheel. The top lion can be easily lifted off and reveals the large channels. It just takes a few seconds to get the large steel balls back on the track. This is truly unusual clock. The clock case is made of solid brass with large beveled glass on all four sizes. The size of this clock is also magnificent. It's 18-1/2" tall, 9-1/4" wide, and 7" deep. This clock has a multiple color dial and a visible platform movement through the round window at 12 o'clock position. Just below the dial, you will notice a barometer and a thermometer on the left. They certainly offer you more info than other clocks. This clock is in good working order. Although this is not an old clock, it is a "must have" piece for any clock collector.
