PLA( Polylactic acid ):
Introduce:
Polylactic acid, also known as polypropylene lactide (PLA), is a polyester polymer obtained by polymerizing lactic acid as the main raw material. It is made by using starch raw material proposed from renewable plant resources (e.g. corn). The starch raw material is saccharified to obtain glucose, which is then fermented with certain strains of bacteria to make high-purity lactic acid, and then a certain molecular weight of PLA is synthesized by chemical synthesis. It has good biodegradability and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature after use, eventually generating carbon dioxide and water without polluting the environment, which is very beneficial to the protection of the environment and is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.
PLA has good mechanical properties and physical properties. Polylactic acid is suitable for blow molding, thermoforming and other processing methods, processing is convenient, very widely used. It can be used to process all kinds of plastic products from industrial to civil, packaged food, fast food lunch boxes, non-woven fabrics, industrial and civil cloth. And then processed into agricultural fabrics, health care fabrics, wipes, sanitary products, outdoor ultraviolet fabrics, tent fabrics, mats and so on, the market outlook is very favorable.
