Viscose, also known as rayon, is a type of textile fibre made from cellulose derived from
trees. The process was actually patented in 1892, but it has gained popularity in recent years as brands and consumers become
increasingly aware of the impact of fashion industry and look for more sustainable fabrics.

Notes	Dyeable in a wide range of colors is possible; however, colorfastness to laundering is variable and similar to normal viscose fiber. FR Viscose is stable when exposed to a wide variety of acids and alkalis. However, prolonged exposure to high concentrations of sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, dimethyl formamide, and dimethyl sulfoxide is not recommended. The fabric does not provide personal chemical protection to the wearer. Where chemical exposure is a hazard, appropriate specialized barrier garments should be selected. FR Viscose is stable when exposed to a wide variety of bleaching agents and organic solvents.
